Dubai

UAE EntryThe Polished Chapter

A brief but pivotal bridge. After the raw, grassroots intensity of Cairo, Dubai introduced me to the sharp edges of corporate structure. It was an ambitious, polished transit city where I learned the mechanisms of scale before being pulled back toward the crisis deepening in Syria.

Dubai, 2012–2013 — Executive Director, Sukoun Media.

Executive Director, Sukoun Media

My first executive role at a commercial media company. It was a sharp pivot from the grassroots humanitarian work in Cairo. Here, I was responsible for steering a professional media operation, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering high-stakes content to a corporate standard.

The Mechanics of Scale

I learned how a polished media organization actually runs. It wasn't just about passion anymore; it was about production pipelines, client relations, rigorous accountability, and financial sustainability. I absorbed the discipline required to build something that lasts in a highly competitive market.
